It was pretty hard to make myself get up this morning, but knowing it was the last two a day of the week helped. Setters, Right Sides, and Middles came in early to work on setting and connections between the middles and right sides. The gym is getting warmer every day, so we’re thankful that we’ll be playing at the Primary School, which has AC, tomorrow!

When the ‘bros and outsides came in, we began to work ball control drills as well as blocking. Miss Megan also suggested we work on our pancakes… let’s just say everyone got a kick out of me diving for the ball. I live by the saying “the bigger you are, the harder you fall.” I have some new bruises to prove it too.

This afternoon was a lighter practice. We’re all feeling a bit sore so Ben and Miss Megan wanted to make sure we rest up a bit for tomorrow’s long scrimmages. We worked individually on what we thought our weakest points are at the moment. The practice was kept pretty short and sweet. It’s was a nice change of pace to be out of Pershing before 5 pm. We’re all really excited for our scrimmage tomorrow against Indian Hills and Hannibal LaGrange. Well, Molly, Tassia and I are going to play Monopoly. Have a great night!

Yeah Puppies!
